Judd Brown, A.S.I.D.
Director of Design

Judd founded JBD in 1983 after working as the head of design for Jan Companies' 62-unit restaurant chain. Brown is a graduate of the architecture department at Arizona State University, and has completed additional studies at the Boston Architectural Center and Harvard University. He is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (A.S.I.D.), and is a recipient of their annual design award from the New England chapter and recently received international recognition winning the 2002 Trends/ASID design award. Interior Design Magazine has also recognized Brown’s work in 11 of the past 13 years as Design Giant. Brown's award winning and revenue generating designs come as the result of a solid academic foundation and years of design work, combined with significant experience in the field of restaurant management where he developed a true appreciation for the ergonomic and economic implications of restaurant design.
